Otto derby consecutivi senza sconfitte

Milan Return to Winning Ways in the Derby

AC Milan returned to winning ways by defeating Inter 3-1 in the Derby della Madonnina, producing a convincing performance both in terms of the result and the quality of their football.
The Rossoneri have won three of their last four league matches, with the defeat by Bologna remaining their only loss of the Serie A season.
Milan have recorded four victories in their first five league fixtures at San Siro, losing only to Bologna on Matchday 9.

Eight Consecutive Derbies Without Defeat

The victory extended Milan’s unbeaten run against Inter to eight matches in all competitions, with six wins and two draws.
The Rossoneri have also won four consecutive derbies across all competitions. The last Milan side to put together a run of that length did so between 1972 and 1973.
Milan have not lost a Serie A derby since 22 April 2024, recording four victories and one draw since then.
The Rossoneri had not enjoyed such a long unbeaten run against Inter in the league since 27 February 2005, when they completed a sequence of six consecutive Serie A derbies without defeat.
Milan defeated Inter 3-1 for the seventh time in Serie A history. Before Saturday, the most recent occurrence came in October 2003, when the Rossoneri recorded that scoreline with Inter as the designated home side.
The previous 3-1 victory with Milan holding home advantage dated back to 19 March 1950.

Moreira Steals the Show

Diego Moreira finished the derby with one goal and two assists. Before him, the only Milan player in the last 20 years to have been involved in three goals in a Serie A derby was Rafael Leão, who scored twice and provided one assist on 3 September 2022.
Moreira had previously recorded a goal and two assists in the same match on 17 May, when he helped Strasbourg defeat Monaco in Ligue 1.
The Portuguese player scored directly from a free-kick. Milan had not scored a direct free-kick since 6 January 2025, when Theo Hernández found the net in the Supercoppa Italiana final, also against Inter.
Adrien Rabiot scored his fifth goal in his first eight league appearances of the season. During the previous campaign, he scored six times in 29 Serie A matches for the Rossoneri.
